In recent weeks, we've had huge cause for celebration across our business, with our teams picking up two wins and a commendation at three prominent industry awards. We are incredibly proud of these achievements, which are the result of the hard work and dedication of our colleagues involved. These awards are recognition of our technical expertise, our investment in our people and our commitment to excellent client service, which lies at the heart our ambition - to lead in society's pursuit for resilience to climate change.

This collaboration sets us apart and helps us support our clients in adapting and building resilience. All of these awards successes are a result of this collaboration - the technical expertise of our people and our commitment to making sustainability central to our operations.
susdrain SuDS Awards - Highly commended
Our Baltic Quarter Blue-Green Corridor project was highly commended in the New Commercial Development category at the susdrain SuDS Awards. This project transformed a disused and formerly contaminated industrial site into a multifunctional high-quality SuDS scheme in an urban environment.
This scheme's exceptional aspect lies in its adaptation to the Baltic Quarter's mining history. Due to contamination risk, surface-level SuDS, comprising detention basins, ponds and swales, manage peak flows while mitigating water infiltration risks. This innovative approach, integrating water treatment and biodiversity measures, showcases SuDS viability even in contaminated former mining areas, setting a precedent for sustainable urban development.

CIEEM Awards - Medium Consultancy of the Year
This award recognises consultancies that not only deliver high-quality ecological services but are exemplary employers and advocates for the profession. Our emphasis on sustainability, knowledge-sharing, staff development, and community engagement in our operations was recognised by the judges as "demonstrating a strong commitment to environmental stewardship and social responsibility".
